Manager & Supervisor Due Diligence Training Program
Our Manager & Supervisor Due Diligence Program will provide participants with an understanding of the “responsibilities” and “reasonable steps” to be taken for the protection of all workplace parties.
This course will also explore the obligations and potential liabilities of company owners, managers, and supervisors, and will discuss the elements critical to a strong health and safety program and safety management system. Upon successful completion, a certificate will be issued automatically.

Occupational Health and Safety Act
Section 2 - Obligations of employers, workers, etc.
1. Every employer shall ensure, as far as it is reasonably practicable for the
employer to do so, (a) the health and safety of (i) workers engaged in the work of that employer, and (ii) those workers not engaged in the work of that employer but present at
the work site at which that work is being carried out, and (b) that the workers engaged in the work of that employer are aware of their
responsibilities and duties under this Act, the regulations and the adopted
code.
2. Every worker shall, while engaged in an occupation, (a) take reasonable care to protect the health and safety of the worker and of
other workers present while the worker is working

Section 115 - General Duties of Employers
1. Every employer must (a) ensure the health and safety of (i) all workers working for that employer, and
(ii) any other workers present at a workplace at which that employer's work
is being carried out, and
Section 117 - General Duties of Supervisors
1. Every supervisor must (a) ensure the health and safety of all workers under the direct supervision of the
supervisor, (b) be knowledgeable about this Part and those regulations applicable to the
work being supervised, and (c) comply with this Part, the regulations and any applicable orders.
Section 121 - Duties of Directors and Officers of a Corporation
“Every director and every officer of a corporation must ensure that the corporation complies with this Part, the regulations and any applicable orders.”

for the purpose of resolving concerns on matters of health, safety and
welfare at work;
ensure, insofar as is reasonably practicable, that the employer’s workers are not exposed to harassment with respect to any matter or circumstance
arising out of the workers’ employment; (d) co-operate with any other person exercising a duty imposed by this Act or
the regulations;
comply with this Act and the regulations.
